Introduce young learners to renewable energy, basic engineering skills, and hands-on problem-solving with our hydrogen-powered XPR program.
Overview
The H2GP EXPLORER (XPR) program introduces elementary and middle school students to basic science and engineering principles related to sustainability and renewable energy. In this program, students design and build their fuel cell-powered vehicles using recycled materials. They start by sketching their vehicle designs and sourcing lightweight yet sturdy materials, before constructing their prototypes and testing them in a friendly competition to see which design can travel the farthest.
